Pulsations is the first phase of the immersive sound experience orchestrated by Montreal duo Pulses (composed of Patrice Tremblay [a.k.a Bushido & Spektro] and Dominic Martin [a.k.a Dom Dumoulin & Snork]). Its soundtrack, a traditional minimalist structure filled with analog textures, echoes the numerous influences that sparked the imaginations of their designers. Without a doubt, the raw synthetic atmosphere of Techno music creates a fertile and mystic breeding ground. An ode to the old school, Pulses borrows from Dub Techno its atmospheric layers and weaves them in continuous and introspective progressions. Ritualistic celebration of timeless music? Undoubtedly. Coloured by mysterious and subtle melodies overwhelming the senses. More than simple music to listen to, Pulses becomes an undeniable life experience.
